A selection of photos showing the beauty amid the devastation.

I have become sort of obsessed by cloud formations lately. Here are some of my favorites.

Some of my favorite places. Includes Lakes Sardis and Clayton, Robber's Cave Park, and some very pretty scenery.

One of the most beautiful autumn sites in the state of Oklahoma.

Shot on the way home from Maine. A most wonderful drive, full of split rail fences and beautiful views.

I truly love the effect the Buzz Simplifier Filter (alas, out of business) gives to landscapes and other leafy shots. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I also use the Dreamy Photo filter from DreamSuite (www.autofx.com) and Virtual Photographer (www.optikvervelabs.com) and Fractalius (www.redfieldplugins.com)and Topaz Adjust (www.TopazLabs.com)

These are the loves of my life, my cats, Ally McSqueal, the new kid, Snappy and our dog, Bob and my best boy, Boo, who passed away in June of 2009) Also included are various characters I've met in my ramblings around the state.

I've moved back to my hometown. These are from East Park, which has undergone a remarkable transformation since I last lived in Iowa

These may cross categories and be buzzed or otherwise altered. They are all florals of some sort.

A great fall shoot in far north Texas. Not for the out of shape (like me).

A gem of a park in Muskogee, Ok. Azalea Festival every spring and Christmas lights in December make it a favorite.

These are mostly shots in my neighborhood and around our town of the children who make us smile.

I'm lucky enough to have a great back yard for sunset shooting. Please enjoy them with me.
